The Reading Journal

A refillable reading journal designed to be kept, revisited, and reloved year after year.

This A5 reading journal is a pink PU leather 6-ring binder. The Reader illustration and gold detailing on the spine and closure flap are original designs, hand-pressed by me in our Oxfordshire studio in slow, small batches.

Inside the binder you’ll find:

• Multiple interior pockets
• Card slots for bookmarks or library cards
• Two pen loops for your favourite writing tools

Each journal comes with 30 double-sided A5 insert pages (60 printed sides), designed to be used flexibly and refilled over time.

All pages are printed on both sides of smooth ivory 120gsm paper, chosen for its soft, book-like feel and excellent performance with everyday writing tools.

• Works beautifully with fountain pens, gel pens, fineliners, and regular pens
• Acrylic markers may show very light ghosting
• Alcohol-based markers will bleed through, as expected with this type of paper

If you enjoy colouring or decorative pen work, we recommend using pencils, brush pens, or a backing sheet.

Additional page refills and optional journal charms are available separately and can be added over time to suit your reading life.
